I watched one a night for four nights in a row. It’s a four-part set of stand-up sets that are meant to be taken in order and together. If there was anything I would recommend that I’ve watched recently, I’d have to say James Acaster’s Repertoire. Those are the kinds of things you can throw on an episode of for comfort food. The exception to that rule though is episodic comedy like Golden Girls. I don’t frequently rewatch things because there’s so much out there I still want to watch for the first time.
I’ve got a long-running appointment with The Office (US), and Superstore, but I tend to watch an episode here and an episode there, sometimes with months in between. Tonight it’s an episode of 15 Storeys High because I don’t have time for a full hour of something because Friday night is Top of the Pops night, and that starts in 55 minutes time, so once my tea is ready I’ll just have time for a half hour. I finished season six of Elementary last night actually.
I watch one episode per night while eating my tea of whichever is in current rotation.
At the moment I’m rotating between Elementary, The Sopranos, The Crown, and 15 Storeys High.
