I personally see more similarity between The Wheel of Time and Dragon Age than the Sword of Truth and Dragon Age though I understand why you would say that.- TheReaperofInsanity ( talk) 16:09, J(UTC)ĭAverse isn't noted for its originality it's a scrapbook of many fantasy universes that have been around for a while now. Chantry=Brotherhood of the Order, Qunari=Blood of the Fold, Templars=Imperial Order, Mages=New and Old World.- 188.67.29.62 ( talk) 12:19, J(UTC)Jak Darckner They both even have the Sebastian guy who is religous nut.
No, I mean the both games are very similar to the Sword of Truth books. So it wouldn't surprise me to see any references to the Sword of Truth series. Martin to Bioware's previous games to Monty Python's Killer Rabbit to the Princess Bride. Origins and DA2 are full of little easter eggs referencing a wide variety of sources, ranging from the Song of Fire and Ice series by G.R.R. I just started playing DA II with Richard Rahl and before him I played Kahlan Amnell. Maybe it's just me, but I rather like it.
DA game series and Sword of Truth fantasybook series have a lot of common. I have played DA games thru and thru a lot and one day it hit me. Do not continue it unless it really needs a response. It is considered archived - the discussion is over.
